Babies and learning…

We have a little girl who is 13 months old and is in equal measures lovely and tiring. She slept for about three hours last night because she is teething so we have all suffered a bad night and today she is a grizzly bear.

She is however learning how to use her hands to programme remote controls and press buttons on the phone to name but two things that she does on a regular basis. It’s uncanny how she can press odd combinations of remote control buttons but actually do quite a lot, for example she nearly ordered a movie the other night she had got right through to the payment screen. Today she had almost set up the perental control and had pressed in two of the four keys of the combination before I got to her!

It’s amazing how quickly she is learning, she not only learns how to use things but also how to wait until the right moment (mum or dad distracted) before attempting to grab the remote off the arm of one of the chairs.
